Performing as a 5 piece band, Kooii deliver rich harmonies, deep grooves and the effortless musical chemistry they’ve honed over years of touring—creating an atmosphere that’s warm, uplifting and made for dancing barefoot on the grass. Led by vocalist-trumpeter Peter Hunt, their sound drifts from hypnotic reggae to pulsing Afrobeat and soulful desert-blues tones, offering something for music lovers of all ages.
Having performed at Byron Bay Blues Festival, the Woodford Folk Festival, Island Vibe, Reggaetown, the Kuranda Roots Festival and the Parihaka Festival (NZ) as well as touring extensively throughout the Australia and New Zealand, Kooii have gathered a devoted following along the way.
