Anjali Leonard’s otherworldly voice has been turning heads on the folk scene. Her pure, soul soothing tone and whimsical original songs have quickly gained attention from respected musicians and a local fan base. A fusion of influences including traditional folk, birdsong and golden era love ballads have formed her distinct and enchanting sound.
JOSEPH FAIRBURN (Mid North Coast)
Joseph S. Fairburn is a Bellingen based visionary singer-songwriter and producer whose music is a transcendent journey through the realms of folk, rock, country, and psychedelia. With a sound steeped in the golden age of 60s and 70s music but reimagined through a modern lens, Fairburn crafts intricate, progressive compositions that stir the soul and ignite the imagination. His work is a mosaic of dynamic shifts, tempo changes, and unconventional time signatures, creating soundscapes that are as whimsical as they are profound.His lyrics, often exploring themes of dreams, existential wonder, and the mysteries of life, resonate with a sense of poetic intimacy and universal connection.
